We participated as part of the filming and operations team for the “N’s1182 Fashion Show” at the Osaka-Kansai Expo.

On June 1, 2025, the event titled “A Feast! The World of Japanese Beauty Performed by Master Artisans”, organized by Yomiuri Shimbun, was held at Gallery EAST at the Osaka-Kansai Expo.

During the event, we participated as part of the filming and operations team for the fashion show by N’s1182, a contracted artisan with our company.

About N’s1182

N’s1182 primarily creates products using Nishijin-ori, a traditional pre-dyed patterned textile known for its wide variety in small-lot production—also the origin of the brand itself. Nishijin-ori fabric for obi (kimono sashes) typically measures only about 31 cm in width, which imposes certain limitations on manufacturing. However, N’s1182 challenges the conventional notion that this fabric is solely for obi by transforming it into clothing and accessories.

Their philosophy centers on exploring new possibilities through design diversity and functional flexibility using obi fabric. Because obi textiles are not traditionally meant to be cut, each piece is carefully finished to prevent fraying after cutting. Skilled artisans meticulously prepare and tailor the material to create durable, high-quality pieces that are then delivered to customers.

Our team was responsible for video documentation, filming direction, and stage management support on the day of the event, contributing to its success from behind the scenes. All the accessories worn during the show were created by artisans under contract with our company. We sincerely thank everyone who supported and collaborated with us.
