Traditional Japanese crafts have a history spanning thousands of years, and presence of century old company is not rare . Suigenkyo is committed to providing not only products, but also the history of each craft, so that people can enjoy Japanese crafts for a long year. Each craftsman has his or her own story, and their philosophy of their life and craftsmanship. We have interviewed these craftspeople in order to bring our customers closer to their crafts. We have interviewed people from all walks of life, including heirs to family businesses that have been passed down through the centuries, and people who have entered the craftsmanship world from a different life of making things, as if they were giving us life advice.
